In this role you will be working in a scrum team with other software engineers and be responsible for ensuring the delivery and reliability of our PHP-based integrations (primarily Magento, but also WordPress/WooCommerce).
dotdigital was honoured to become Magento’s first and only Premier Technology Partner for Marketing Automation back in 2015. We were recognized as offering one of the most feature-rich and robust marketing integrations, verified for quality by developers at Magento. Since then we’ve released additional modules for B2B, Chat and SMS, and most recently a special toolkit (built in React) for progressive web apps.
Tech stack: LAMP/MAMP, Magento 2, Git, Composer, PhpStorm, Azure DevOps, PHP 7.4+, Zend, Sympfony, Laravel, JavaScript (VanillaJS, React, Angular, Vue).

This is what you will do:
- build company’s core PHP-based integrations (primarily Magento, but also WordPress/WooCommerce),
- work closely with experienced software developers and tech leads,
- work with product owners and lead development of new functionalities,
- develop new functionalities and support maintenance of the platform,
- deliver in a CI/CD environment,
- write clean, maintainable and secure code.
We would like you to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other, related, technical area,
- min. 6 months of commercial experience with PHP (Magento is a plus),
- experience in working in scrum,
- strong interpersonal skills,
- team player attitude,
- very good English.
Ideally you would also have experience with:
- JavaScript (vanilla JS, plus modern frameworks like Angular, Vue or React),
- Laravel,
- Docker.
