As an Engineering Manager in Divante, you will!
With us you’ll transform the eCommerce industry for customers like Bosch, 3M, Żywiec and lead a team of talented Developers who use top-notch technology stack that includes PHP, JavaScript (Vue.js and React), Python, Go, SQL and noSQL databases plus a variety of services cloud providers like AWS and Azure.
Your daily tasks as an Engineering Manager:
- Taking responsibility for the people in the team you are to lead
- Supporting your team in the projects they are working on (coaching, mentoring, technical guidance - rather than pure hands-on programming)
- Driving continuous improvement - people, processes, architecture and code - both on team and department level
- Close cooperation with Project Managers, Solutions Architects, Business Analysts, DevOps
- Having autonomy and the opportunity to constantly develope your skills
You’ll be a perfect match if you:
- Have a proven experience as a Team Leader / Engineering Manager
- Have a programming background (preferably JavaScript or PHP)
- Understand Management 3.0 principles
- Have outstanding communicating and feedback skills
- Are a problem solver with can-do attitude and always looking for new solutions
- Have advanced command in English (at least B2 level)
It’s great if you also have:
- Understanding of DevOps engineering field
- Experience in Cloud solutions based on one of AWS/Azure/GCloud
- Experience in microservices and serverless
- Experience in Vue.js / React.js
