Job description
We offer you an opportunity to work in the international team of about 20 software engineers and data scientists who work on a modern SaaS system that automates data processing. The Client is a big data analytics company in the pharmaceutical sector. The automation process starts from getting a buyer’s request for data processing and goes all the way to receiving data analysis results through the system.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps engineer to join our team!
You will need to be able to work in a US/UK-based multicultural environment and speak freely with your colleagues on a daily basis. We are remote-friendly and welcome candidates from any location within Poland.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Configure, set up, automate, and auto-scale of data-related components in an AWS and AliCloud environment.
- Provide day-to-day support for system availability, maintenance, and build.
- Work closely and collaboratively in an Agile environment with our engineers and product teams to analyze issues and find new insights covering our business and operations.
- Day-to-day operational support of data infrastructure and services.
- Ownership of performance, monitoring, and scale management in a cloud environment including recommendations.
Requirements
- Strong expertise/background with Linux.
- Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Technologies (VPC, EC2, Route53, Kinesis, ECS, IAM, and other AWS concepts).
- Experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins.
- Experience with configuration management systems (Terraform, Ansible).
- Development and Operational Experience within Big Data Ecosystem.
