Company Description
Hi, we are DevSkiller! We’re looking for people to join
our team to help us bring meaningful change to technical recruitment and talent management.
At DevSkiller, we’re proud of our creative working environment where all ideas are welcome. We enjoy experiments, collaborate freely, and always keep our goals in mind. We’re eager to take ownership and constantly look for ways to grow professionally. We learn from the best and collaborate with experienced field experts in a fast-paced but friendly workspace.
We remain agile and we are focused on delivering high-quality software fast. Of course, everything is automated, including infrastructure, provisioning, testing and deployment. Yet, our development process is very lean, with time to market (from commit to deployment) measured in minutes. We are not afraid of experimenting and treat “best tool for the job” very seriously. Sometimes it’s Spark, sometimes GCP cloud function in Python, sometimes no-code automation. A lot of improvements and features were invented by our engineers. I once heard from one of the developers that working at DevSkiller is “the first time I can’t complain about anything”. The atmosphere in the office is incredible. And out of the office as well:

Job Description
We build a modern technical screening and sourcing platform. We value testing real programming skills. Thus we are really proud of our advanced infrastructure that can build, run and verify programming assignments in real time. We support testing all major programming languages, technologies and platforms, including Kubernetes.
You will have an opportunity to build an extraordinary platform and solve challenging technical problems. As part of our platform we have an advanced in-browser IDE, git server backed by custom file system and auto-scalable cluster of build agents and virtual machines. We are aiming to build an extensible platform that can be highly customised by our clients.
We strongly believe in infrastructure-as-code and GitOps. Everything related to our cloud is scripted, automated and code-reviewed. Thanks to that we successfully migrated from Azure to GCP with relatively low effort some time ago.
Our current challenges include multi-region deployment on all continents, designing pluggable architecture and auto-scaling our infrastructure. All of this keeping an eye on the costs and benefits. Comfort and experience of our candidates are closest to our hearts.
Qualifications
We are looking for experienced infrastructure engineers who embrace infrastructure-as-code, automation and have DevOps mindset. We highly appreciate independent engineers who are proactive and can take responsibility for large-scale infrastructure. We also treat security and data governance very seriously.
Technologies we value and use on a daily basis:
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Google Cloud Platform
- Kustomize
- Docker
- Jenkins Pipelines
- Go
- HashiCorp Vault
- Argo CD
