We're looking for a Senior Product Owner for an international fintech startup on a mission to protect and grow its clients’ life savings. The company was founded to address two of the biggest issues with Bitcoin adoption: accessibility and security. In a matter of years, they developed an industry-leading platform that introduced cryptocurrency into the daily lives of millions worldwide. You will be responsible for delivery and ensuring impeccable quality and functionality of the company’s products and services.
The ideal candidate is an experienced cross-functional collaborator, with the ability to balance and communicate priorities across multiple business teams and organize and maintain a roadmap that impacts internal users and customers alike.
Requirements:
- Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 5+ years
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical systems and architecture principles
- Experience shipping market-leading products in a fast-growing startup
- Knowledge of, and experience with, cryptocurrencies and/or blockchain technology
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities with competing timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven experience driving product and business decisions
- Team-oriented, collaborative and demonstrated willingness to roll up sleeves and get into the weeds of a project
- English B2 minimum
Nice to haves / pluses:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master qualification
- Experience working in regulated industries, FinTech, cryptocurrency or retail banking
Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve the product strategy, positioning, and offerings
- Discover, prioritize, and write requirements for new product features
- Advocate for clients and customers, deeply understanding their needs and pains
- Lead the product lifecycle from discovery, research, design, development, quality assurance, launch, and iteration
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, engineering and data science
- Represent the product team both internally to leadership and externally to clients where appropriate
- Communicate effectively between business stakeholders, marketing and technology
