We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for an experienced and successful team who is willing to put their skills to good, and make sure all benefit from it. 

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of Node.js web application development experience
• Track record in working with other developers to deliver in-market application
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Unit Testing experience
• Ability to work with a distributed teams of engineers across time zones
• 2+ years experience with serverless web app architecture, design, and implementation leveraging Node.js, AWS lambda, API Gateway, and S3
• Experience working with NoSQLl databases (DynamoDB)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning systems, such as Git
• English fluency
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with time series databases (InfluxDB) including inserting, updating, and querying data with Flux and SQL.
• API integrations w/ financial, or other services requiring higher precision & security
• 1+ years of experience with using Typescript, Python, full-stack development experience in for daily job responsibilities (each stands for itself)
• Experience with monitoring & performing DevOps tasks for serverless infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend software developer delivering functionality and APIs to our applications
• Partner with our CTO and software development team to deliver 
• Write high quality code that is easy to maintain and verify over time
• Debug and fix performance or functionality bugs
• Help improve and drive-up quality of our existing code base
• Integrate partner business APIs into our web applications 
• Help design and propose new functionality to improve our products
• Document and produce architecture and component level specs and diagrams
