We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer! Our client is a French-based company that provides and implements a revolutionary approach to modern customer engagement powering the world’s most successful communities, from next-gen startups to established enterprises, in gaming and beyond. The platform's future relies on the hands of the community, whose feedback is an engine for changes and growth, which makes it pretty unique.

Requirements

• Mandatory 5+ years of experience in Node.js and SQL databases
• Experience working on systems with a lot of traffic
• Experience building customer-facing applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Experience working in a start-up environment

Responsibilities:

• Build the backend for various user-facing features
• Improve database and infrastructure performance
• Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting for our service so that we can better respond to operational incidents
• Scale our service via architectural changes as well as infrastructure improvements
• Improve the DX to multiply the team productivity
• Work closely with founders and design to implement fast new feature concepts
