We're looking for a Platform Software Architect for an international company focused on providing a cloud-native and AI-powered legal solution that simplifies the editing, review of legal documents, and case management for enterprises, law firms, legal service providers, and governments. All the work there is performend in AWS
You will work on a tight-knit team within a federated engineering organization to maintain, extend, and improve highly scalable, data-intensive backend systems serving a growing number of teams.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant platform development experience.
- An ability to reason about and communicate external and internal architectural perspectives of well-encapsulated systems (e.g. Service Oriented Architecture, Docker-based Services, micro-services)
- Some experience with ‘Big Data’ technologies such as ElasticSearch, NoSql Stores, Kafka, Columnar Databases, DataFlow or Pipeline Systems, Graph DataStores
- Commercial experience with design, implementation, and operation of data-intensive, distributed systems
- You are an expert in using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with an emphasis on a well-maintained testing pyramid
- Some experience in designing and operating software in a Cloud Provider
- Previous experience in building and maintaining product from scratch

Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and operating platform-wide services such as:
- Transactional or eventually consistent stores that provide well-encapsulated domain object semantics
- Domain and data modeling that provides efficiency, scalability, and flexibility
- Highly scalable and crazy performant search systems
- Orchestrated scaleout data pipelines that can leverage serverless and containerized compute that balances cost, latency, and duration
- Algorithmically intensive data engines that operate on streaming, large, or multi-tenant datasets
