Job description
For one of our clients we are looking for Ruby Developer to join dynamic and leading Software and Consultancy Company. Our Client offers intelligence-based solutions to help retailers protect margin, unlock sales, and cut shrink. Company is building data-driven solutions to help their customers in government and commercial enterprises solve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Understand requirements to deliver solutions against existing standards and practices
- Build features to specification/design
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Integrate with data storage solutions
- Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or a related field / or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands on experience with Ruby on Rails
- Very Good English skills
- Good understanding of design patterns with practical implementations of the same
- Expertise in data modelling and user interface development principles including hands on experience with JavaScript
- Knowledge on Source Control
Helpful / Preffered skills:
- Knowledge of web services technologies (i.e. Rest, Soap) and API testing
- Experience in microservice patterns and scalable solutions
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL solutions
- Experience in containerization technologies like Docker
- Experience in Vue.js development
