Job description

We are looking for an experienced Network Operations Specialist to join Demant’s Global IT  Infrastructure & Operations team. 

Demant is a global company with more than 18,000 colleagues globally, who all use our IT solutions. You will be part of the Datacenter Operations team consisting of 19 people located in Infrastructure & Operations consisting of 80 people in total working out of our offices in Denmark, Kuala Lumpur and Poland.

What tasks are waiting for you?

  • Deliver 2nd line support to Demant companies worldwide, including day to day operations, troubleshooting, analysis and improvement of networking infrastructure
  • Follow up on incidents and issues in cooperation with colleagues from different worldwide locations
  • Service Request fulfillment. Ensure all requests are prioritized and managed pro-actively according to impact, escalating problems as required
  • Support and contribute to various projects and initiatives
  • You are prepared to work in 2 rotating shifts (once per 3 weeks)


To succeed in this position, it´s important that you have several years of experience from an IT Infrastructure environment. Currently you may be working as a specialist or consultant. It is essential that you have experience with Cisco technologies within the Network area from a larger/international company.


It would be great if you have:

  • hands-on experience managing enterprise networks (Cisco based)
  • switch and router configuration, administration, system upgrades and hardware deployment
  • knowledge of LAN/WAN networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPNs, Firewalls and wireless networking.
  • have certification at CCNA  level or equivalent experience
  • ITIL processes & procedures
  • Nice to have: familiarity with F5 load balancers, Azure networking
  • Desirable but not essential to also have some broader IT and infrastructure knowledge across Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, scripting
  • communicate effortlessly in English
  • experience with business interaction and you enjoy working in teams across business and IT
  • as a person you are analytical, good at troubleshooting and have the will to make a difference
