Database Administrator

You will play an important role in our Infrastructure Operations team where you have a central role in the continuous improvement of our IT support to the business. •    administering of MS SQL databases in large, corporate environment (HA, Always On);
 •    delivering 2nd level support in db area for Demant companies worldwide including troubleshooting, analysis and improvement of infrastructure;
 •    installing and upgrading databases in accordance with internal policy; 
 •    following up on incidents and issues in cooperation with colleagues from different worldwide locations;
 •    ensuring all requests are prioritized and managed pro-actively according to impact. Escalating problems as required;
 •    participating in various deployment and migration projects.

•    have 2 years DBA experience with MS SQL;
 •    are familiar with Microsoft Server environment and VMware or Hyper-V virtualization;
 •    have some experience in scripting;
 •    communicate effortlessly in English;
 •    are ready to work in two shifts system (2nd shift week once per month);
 •    have experience with MS Dynamics Ax – not required, but advantage
