Role Overview:

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our Big Data platforms, including Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, and HBASE. You'll have the opportunity to develop innovative software systems and automation solutions, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Execute SRE duties for Big Data platforms, focusing on Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, and HBASE.

·        Develop software systems and automated solutions to streamline operational processes.

·        Code efficiently based on requirements, verify, and deploy software programs.

·        Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing programs to improve performance and efficiency.

·        Generate reports and conduct trending analysis to analyze capacity metrics and usage patterns.

·        Enable automations in the front-end UI and ensure seamless execution.

Technical Skills Required:

·        2-3 years of experience for a junior-level role, 5+ years for mid-level/senior-level roles as a Big Data (Hadoop/Kafka) Site Reliability Engineer.

·        Proficiency in Hadoop/Kafka platforms and core components.

·        Knowledge of coding languages such as Java or Python.

·        Familiarity with the software development life cycle.

·        Ability to adapt and learn new languages and technologies.

·        Familiarity with Unix/Linux system internals, networking, and distributed systems.
