Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable applications using Java, REST, NoSQL, Docker, and more

• Translate wireframes and mockups into functional web components

• Collaborate with Technical Product Management to architect enterprise-grade solutions

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and reusable front-end components

• Explore Machine Learning and Deep Learning to develop fraud models

• Leverage Big Data tools and analytics platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, and Cassandra

• Ensure secure code practices and work with security teams on data flow and code reviews

• Deliver high-quality, testable code through TDD, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in Java development with expertise in REST APIs, JSON, Docker

• Proficient in front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS4, React.js, Redux, Riot.js

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit, Sonar, Mock frameworks

• Experience building enterprise-grade, high-availability applications

• Exposure to ML/AI tools and fraud detection systems is a plus

• Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra)

• Deep understanding of secure coding principles and system architecture

• Strong communication skills, creativity, and a collaborative mindset
