The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the upgrade of servers from Windows 2008 to Windows 2016.
This role will need to follow Service Management processes of Change, Release and Configuration Management based on ITIL best practises.

- Responsible for H/w replacements viz. Servers
- Responsible for the upgrade of current Server OS from W2K8 to Windows 2016
- Responsible for ensuring users get all their required applications post upgrade.
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues during and post upgrade.
- Responsible for ensuring any necessary project documentation is kept up to date.
- Responsible for ensuring all assets are registered in the CMDB post upgrade.
- Responsible to deliver user level training on the new Client OS to Staff
- At least 3 years’ experience in IT field - Windows 2008/2016 with AD
- very good written and verbal communication skills in English
- ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certified
- able to resolves complex problems affecting use of ICT systems to maintain underlying business processes
- capable of understanding and communicating technical issues with non-technical colleagues
- experience in any of these: Exchange & IIS, ISA, DNS, DHCP Virtualization technologies, SCCM, SharePoint highly desirable
- Constant support of dedicated consultant
