Mission:
- Manage business analytic support for Prepackaged Roles and Applications; Drive development of new releases and enable all product stakeholders teams: Tech Sales, Services Implementation, Support.
- Based on Business Experience, engineer product data models & data content, ensuring the delivery of the expected functional & nonfunctional domain requirements in a lean, efficient and evaluative way;
Role Description:
Prepackaged Roles Application Management:
- Cooperation with product stakeholders (R&D, industry, tech presales, services, support) to collect business requirements for the new releases of prepackaged Roles and Applications;
- Analysis, prioritization and design of appropriate Application features implementing collected requirements;
- Contribute to development project planning: create project proposals documents and apply for their approvals;
- Create and maintain agile project backlog (providing details of specification, first- line reviews, monitoring of development progress);
- Organize in-and post- development reviews of the application to synchronize and collect stakeholders feedback;
- Enable external teams (services, presales, support, training) for the application use, collect their feedback;
- Maintain the application product backlog throughout the whole product development life cycle;
Data & Model Engineering:
- Analyze and define main data flows (requirements) of a given domain (industry challenges, standards, domain requirements);
- Document & engineer ad-hoc materials following modeling methodology (UML structural & behavioral diagrams, explicit object representations, physical models, ontologies);
- Ensure validation of Data Models & Data content;
- Establish data deliveries plans (data models);
- Articulate the value of models;
- Assistance (code review / usages samples / best practice
- Communicate pro-actively on model evolutions / using communities (avoiding model initiatives redundancies across 3DS);
Background and Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience developing commercial systems and applications;
- Solid background in computer science and understanding of software architecture;
- Strong analytical skills: able to use knowledge and experience to create complete and accurate functional specifications based on customer requirements;
- Knowledge on relational databases incl. MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases;
- Fluent English
- Experience in modeling frameworks & associated techniques (UML, RDF, MOF, SKOS, OWL, …) will be a strong asset;
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Manufacturing Execution System will be a strong asset;
