Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Overview:

The project's essence is contributing to the client's Data Lake in every aspect, starting with Architecture up to data ingestion and further implemented data source support. Team of talented Data Engineers, Architects and Business analysts are working on a unified data platform a.k.a. Data Lake that provides the convenience of viewing & connecting to multiple validated datasets in common access patterns.

What will you be doing on the project, our technological stack:

· work with a lot of AWS services and frameworks, such as Lake Formation, Cloud Formation, CDK, KMS, IAM, etc.

· deploy artifacts using Cloud Formation stacks

· set-up roles, policies, cross account access

· manage application lifecycle with Cloud Forge

· create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Bamboo

· monitor status of daily pipelines in Splunk, Grafana, Datadog

· maintain dozens of GIT repositories

· keep the infrastructure secured

· use best security and networking practices

· be proactive and stay motivated, propose enhancements

Requirements:

· 3+ years of relevant production experience

· 1+ years of experience with AWS: configuration, setting up and maintenance

· Solid understanding of cloud computing principles

· Advanced written and spoken English

Nice to have:

· Experience in Data Engineering or Data DevOps pipelines or Data Domain as such

· Coding skills in Python or TypeScript or JavaScript or Scala
