We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and well-organized Middle Data Engineer to join one of our teams at Customertimes!

About the project:

Our client is a global insurer and the third-largest property and casualty insurer in the United States.​

Customertimes is looking for a Middle Data Engineer to join our team for an insurance project!

What you’ll do:

• ETL implementation

• Development of data pipelines, integration with different sources, data replication and validation

• Infrastructure maintenance

• Monitoring of daily processes

• Communication with analysts and customer to get requirements and ensure a good result

• Address issues related to scalability, consistency, reliability, efficiency, and maintainability

It’s all about you:

• 3+ years of experience and a strong understanding of AWS Data Infrastructure

• 3+ years of experience and strong knowledge in services: CloudFormation, AIM, Glue, Lambda, DMS, StepFunctions, EventBridge

• 3+ years of experience using Python in a Data environment

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Glue Data Catalogue

• Experience with IaC and SaaS paradigm

• Upper-intermediate-level of English

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Spark

• Understanding of Delta Lake

• Other programming language: Scala, Java, TypeScript

• Other AWS applications: Lake Foundation, Data Encryption, Event bus

• Experience working with Lakes and Lakehouses

• Experience with Qlik Replicate

• Experience working in insurance or Fin-Tech industry company
