Senior Java Developer

Hi! Are you ready for a new challenge in the financial sector?

We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join an Agile team working within the Global Markets Financing stream for a major investment bank. You’ll play a key role in developing and modernizing critical platforms used by internal teams and global clients.

📍 Location: Kraków (hybrid model – 2–3 days per week in the office)

💰 B2B: 120-130 PLN/h net + VAT

📅 Start Date: August/September

🕐 Duration: 12 months

🛠️ Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Java (core and advanced features) and experience in building enterprise-grade applications (5+ years)

• Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, and messaging tools (JMS, Apache Kafka)

• Familiarity with Git for version control

• Ability to apply TDD / BDD testing approaches

• Proficient in writing intermediate SQL queries and optimizing database performance

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Design, develop, and test high-quality code for both new and existing features

• Participate in architecture discussions and make design decisions

• Review teammates’ code and suggest improvements

• Solve problems across different layers of the system (infrastructure, services, operations)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business requirements and avoid misunderstandings
