Remote Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake for a high-priority project. This role involves supporting the Data & Analytics Finance product by providing actionable insights and facilitating data exploration through Business Intelligence and self-service tools.

Location: 100% remote

Rate: b2b: 100 - 130 netto+vat /h

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Implement and manage Snowflake data warehouses.
• Collaborate with finance and RSS teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Support data exploration and Business Intelligence initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization.
• Participate in DevOps processes and use GitLab as an enabler.

Requirements:

Must Have:

• Fluent English
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Expertise in Snowflake

Good to Have:

• Training in Data Mesh / Data Products concepts
• Knowledge of surrounding platforms/technologies such as Talend
• DevOps know-how and experience with GitLab
