We Offer
The global SQL Server engineering team is responsible for the design, engineering and documentation of globally deployed Microsoft SQL Server platforms. We are looking for a new member in our growing team, helping us to timely deliver our platform releases. We need your help to provide robust SQL Server releases and infrastructure components to our company-internal customers.
You will work closely with customers and peers, need to influence key partners in the relevant area of expertise to support your ideas and solutions. Internally, these partners would include senior technical specialists within the global technology organization. Externally, you will interact with vendor organizations.
- You will design, engineer and document globally used SQL Server platforms based on Windows Server.
- You will automate processes/solutions if possible then integrate with other tools/systems.
- You will be responsible for the timely delivery of platform releases as well as the overall quality and security of the products.
- You are expected to be capable of interaction with and influencing of key partners in the relevant area of expertise. Internally, these partners would include senior stakeholders within the global technology organization.
- Externally, you are expected to interact with vendor organizations.
- You will become global 3rd level support for existing solutions.
You Offer
- 2+ years automation/script/programmer (most preferably Powershell) competency developed through practical experience in automation of various Microsoft solutions
- Strong problem identification / analytical skills, capable of building creative workarounds "on the fly"
- Detailed knowledge of or work experience on database and related infrastructure systems (preferably Microsoft SQL Server)
- Fundamentals on Windows Server and Active Directory
- Ambitious, hardworking and dedicated individual with good interpersonal skill
- Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related technical fields
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have:
- Experience in engineering of corporate application solutions.
- Valid Microsoft certification.
- Knowledge/experience in Cloud solutions for SQL Server.
