We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team. You will assist with maintaining, upgrading and managing our software, hardware and networks.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining, troubleshooting and building windows systems.
- Maintenance of anti-virus/end point protection.
- Managing software licenses.
- Vendor management of IT hardware, Software and Licenses.
- Troubleshooting desktop issues, primarily on Windows but also MacOS.
- Helping users resolve IT problems.
- Adding/deleting new users.
- Managing access control to internal and external resources.
Qualifications.
- Solid background in working with Windows environments, comfortable across Active Directory, Servers and Office365.
- Background in solving networking problems within LAN, WAN and VoIP.
- Ability to anticipate load and hardware requirements.
- Ability to source computer hardware that meets the Company's requirements.
- Knowledge of firewall configuration.
- Knowledge of DNS and DHCP.
- Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system and experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare).
- Ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Background of working within a help desk environment (2 years).
