Currently, we are looking for an effective, experienced and self-driven DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join us. You will work closely with our CTO and Technical Team Leader in Poland, who will support and mentor you. You will have the opportunity to work with Cloud Native tech stack, taking full ownership of the things you build. Together you will cherish DevOps culture among Cosmose Engineering Team, enabling developers to do more - in a secure, reliable way.
Responsibilities
- Building and improving platform for service-oriented applications running on Kubernetes in AWS Cloud
- Accelerating developers pace through better tooling, automation, monitoring but also through coaching and guidance on best practices - a true DevOps approach to shipping things
- Taking full ownership of the things you build - we’re a small team that needs to be dependable
- Making Cosmose’s infrastructure secure, reliable, scalable and a joy to work with
Requirements
- Proficiency with Linux, including system and network administration, understanding core concepts of processes, networking, containers
- Proficiency with shell, including general scripting and building big-data pipelines on the command line
- Proficiency with AWS Cloud (VPC, EC2, EKS, load-balancing, networking and peering, security)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS, kops) and it’s tooling (Helm, Kustomize, Kiam, Prometheus)
- Following Infrastructure as Code patterns (Terraform, Atlantis)
- A sixth sense for code smell and bad architecture patterns
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail, outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- B2 Level in English

Bonus points for:
- Experience with PostgreSQL operations
- Experience with JVM
- CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Argo)
- Experience with monitoring stacks (VictoriaMetrics / Prometheus / AlertManager/ Grafana)

- Contributions to Open Source tools mentioned above
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
