Currently, we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team.To succeed in this position, you should have strong subject matter knowledge, proven experience in project management and leading data scientists teams.
Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring a small team of Data Scientists
- Conducting data analysis of customers behaviour, marketing campaigns, response prediction, and behavioral segmentation of campaign targeting
- Develop technical standards, procedures, project documentation, and guidelines used to govern data models
- Managing business intelligence and data mining projects, data quality control and new data source integration with Cosmose infrastructure,
- Drive the development of tools, reporting improvements, and automation
- Guiding development teams and business stakeholders in applying and deploying data modeling techniques
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role (preferably with team-leading role)
- Proficiency with SQL and Python
- Hands-on working experience in Linux
- Project Management Skills: especially scheduling, task management, quality management, critical thinking, risk and issue management, Subject Matter Expert
- People Management Skills: leadership, team building, delegation, motivation, developing Staff, providing feedback, self-awareness, and improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to explain the work in plain language to business stakeholders with no data experience
- Strong problem-solving and structuring skills, with the ability to bring actionable insights through effective communication, together with attention to detail

- MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- C1 Level in English
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Jira
- Experience with data reporting and processing of large data sets (Big Data)
