As an Associate Software Engineer you will:

You will be joining one of our teams and participating in all development (code creation and review, write unit tests) and SCRUM activities within the team. You will be working on real tasks related to our product and relevant for others. You will have an exceptional opportunity to learn from more experienced colleagues and influence surrounding world.

Our modern Cracow office is located in the city center (5 minutes walk from Main Railway Station). We offer stationary, hybrid or work from home, based on your own preference.

In this role you will...

• Understand product requirements, and brainstorm with the product team.
• Develop, unit test, and deliver the features within committed timelines.
• Be a great test driven engineer and set high standards for quality with every new development.
• Work closely with leads and architects to ensure each new development is in line with CSOD vision and harmonizes with overall architecture.

You’ve got what it takes if you... 

• Have minimum 1 year hands-on experience on RoR
• Have a basic knowledge of core AWS services like S3, EC2, EKS, CloudFront’
• Hands-on experience with relational database: MySQL, Postgresql’
• Foundation in backend technologies like Java is a plus
• Experience with no-sql databases like MongoDB, Redis, Influx is a plus
• Solid grip on data structures and database designs
• Motivated by results team-player
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
