We are looking for a Middle to Senior PHP developer to join a team of talented IT professionals operating in Gdansk.
Our company is a branch of the leading Scandinavian Magento/ E-commerce solution provider Convert Group AS. The company is a Magento Solutions Enterprise Partner with the high standards for products and IT consulting services delivered to the customers.
Our Gdansk office is housing a delivery team of ~ 11 skilled engineers who are working on developing probably the best webshops in Europe.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years experience in development, programming with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL
- JavaScript - including frameworks and libraries like jQuery, KnockoutJS, RequireJS
- Experience from projects involving Product Information Management systems (such as Pimcore, Akaneo, Inriver or similar)
- Experience implementing order fulfillment and/or supply chain APIs or customizing same to automate order fulfillment processes for an eCommerce website (custom interface with 3rd party APIs)
- Integration experience with ERPs or other systems relevant for ecommerce
- Optimize platform speed/performance and CDN implementation
- Version control experience (GIT)
- Work alongside internal leadership to determine future strategy and implementation of new tools and eCommerce innovation
Preferable but not required:
- Pimcore development experience
- PIM implementation experience
- eCommerce and Magento 1 and 2 development experience
- Jira or similar / Agile task management tool experience
- PHP frameworks like Zend (Laminas), Laravel or Symfony
Your responsibilities will be:
- Develop, Test and Document ecommerce and PIM solutions based on Pimcore
- Develop, Test and Document ecommerce solutions based on Magento 2
- Develop customer specific Magento 2 modules
- Create integrations between Magento 2 and 3rd party systems
- Deployment code to customer environments
- Preparation of estimations of development efforts
- Write efficient, reusable and documented code
- Maintain already existing projects
