For that type person we have role waiting for you as a Junior Test Engineer (with German) in Document Lifecycle Management cluster.

Document Lifecycle Management cluster is one of our 53 agile clusters which key task is to invent, realize and deliver innovative, digital, multi-channel products with a superior and absolutely convincing customer and user experience. The mission of the cluster Document Lifecycle Management (DLM) is to enable a paperless bank. DLM creates a globally consistent and complete Commerzbank archive and front-end infrastructure for document generation, scanning, electronic transport and archiving for bank and client. The former SDM-unit ECM will be part of this cluster.

In your role as Junior Test Engineer (with German) you will be responsible for conducting automated and manual tests (mostly) to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose. Assessing codes is one of the main duties of test engineers.

Main tasks:

  • Design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs
  • Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements
  • Prove for scalability and performance of a software
  • Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
  • Work with developers and business and test engineers (automated tests)
  • Develop and automate tests for software validation (also used for regression tests)
  • Detect bug issues
  • Prepare file defect reports and report test progress

What we expect from you:

  • German B2 level (mandatory)
  • English B2 level (mandatory)
  • Willingness to learn automated and manual tests
  • Readiness for business travel to Germany (up to 50% of time during first 3-4 months)

Nice to have:

  • Ability to analyze processes and requirements (User Story) for test sets
  • Practical experience in host /mainframe environment
  • Familiarity with ALM / HPQC
  • Knowledge of Jira
  • Practical experience with Agile testing method
