For that type person we have role waiting for you as a Junior/Mid Application Manager / Supporter in Finance Risk Data Warehouse cluster.
Description of the Cluster:
Finance Risk Data Warehouse clusteris one of our 53 agile clusters which key task is to invent, realize and deliver innovative, digital, multi-channel products with a superior and absolutely convincing customer and user experience. FRDWH is the central database which provides the dispositive customer’s applications with the required information.
Description of the position:
In your role as Junior/Mid Application Manager / Supporter you will be a team member of experts who are responsible for understanding complex data flows and their business purpose in order to ensure stable and reliable function and a high availability of the IT applications your team is responsiblefor. Together with the team, you will take case about the application operations of the FRDWH for the production and pre-live instances. Among other things, this will include technical implementation of the corresponding batch processes, status reporting, implementation of appropriate measures in the event of a failure as well as communication with suppliers and customers.
Your main tasks will be:
- stable operations of the applications within your scope (setting up batch runs, monitoring the IT application, performing the the regular checks and react on all errors and supporting their correction)
- managing and maintaining the applications in close cooperation with the development teams, the business processing team and the internal customer. In case of production issues, you will analyze and solve the problems in close collaboration with other involved teams
- status reporting and corresponding communication
- housekeeping activities (archiving, cleaning up file system)
- participation in on-call rotas as well as early and late shift on-site support
- participation in the preparation and implementation of changes to the given environment. In that context you will be supporting test-activities on test-environments (acceptance test)
- performing the test- and deployment process for new software releases for the instances pre-life and productio
- readiness for business travel to Germany (50% of time during first 3-4 months)
What we expect from you:
- knowledge or first experience in DB (Oracle, SQL)
- knowledge or first experience in Operating Systems, e.g. Unix (Solaris, Linux)
- knowledge or practical experience with data transformation technologies and tools (ETL, e.g. Informatica)
Nice to have:
- Jira/Confluence
- Agile Software Development / Scrum or Kanban
- Desired tool knowledge (e.g: HPSM, SQL-Developer, MS Office, Notepad++, WinSCP, Putty (or similiar)
- 3rd party products (e.g.: ConnectDirect, iFG, UC)
- Business analysis methodologies (understand the crucial functionality and workflow of the IT application in order to react on errors)
- Experience in Data Warehouse applications
- Programming or Scripting Skills (e.g. Unix Scripting)
- Understand and maintain self written Java tools for operation purposes
Foreign languages skills:
- English B2 level (mandatory)
- German (optional)
