Job description

We're looking for smart developers to work on our video detection (real-time computer vision) security system. You can help us develop and improve a system which guards the underground tunnels of Prague's Metro subway. Help us to improve our software for object recognition and tracking in dark and challenging conditions. We need people who work smart, not hard, who like to learn new things and who are passionate about programming.

Skills & Requirements

This job is suitable only for people living in or near Prague, Czech Republic. We do not offer remote work and we can't offer relocation assistance. We need you to work in our offices in Prague.

We need:

a good knowledge of Python or of a similar language with willingness to learn Python
basic understanding of linux (unix) architecture and linux (unix) programming
good knowledge of linux (bash) command line
at least some linux administration skills (installing packages, restarting services)

We would like:

a good knowledge of C, C++11
experience with GStreamer
experience with automated testing (unittests)
experience with (distributed) version control (Mercurial, GIT, SVN, ...)
at least some experience with HTML and Javascript
some experience with SQL, postgres

Any experience with functional languages, rust, matlab/octave/numpy or computer vision will be a big plus.
