About the Team
Global Client & Infrastructure is a team of Systems Administrators and IT Specialists working out of our offices in Poland, UK and Denmark.
Our area of responsibility is the operation and maintenance of Coloplast’s global Windows / Intel server infrastructure incl. backup and monitoring of these as well as operation and maintenance of client facing hardware and applications.
Join us and become part of the group of Systems Administrators in Coloplast’s Global Client & Infrastructure team that designs, implement and administrates the Backup, Monitoring, Virtual Apps and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies within Coloplast.
Global Client & Infrastructure is a team of Systems Administrators and IT Specialists working out of our offices in Poland, UK and Denmark.
Our area of responsibility is the operation and maintenance of Coloplast’s global Windows / Intel server infrastructure incl. backup and monitoring of these as well as operation and maintenance of client facing hardware and applications.
Join us and become part of the group of Systems Administrators in Coloplast’s Global Client & Infrastructure team that designs, implement and administrates the Backup, Monitoring, Virtual Apps and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies within Coloplast.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, operating, maintaining, optimizing, and expanding the following technologies within Coloplast
- Virtual Apps and Virtual Desk Infrastructure (VDI) –based on Citrix
- Backup - based on Dell/EMC Avamar and Data Domain
- Server Infrastructure Monitoring –based on Microsoft SCOM
- Provide level 2/3 support on the mentioned technologies
- Escalation and coordination with external suppliers and partners within these technology areas
- Take an active role in the delivery of projects/activities extending or enhancing Coloplast’s setup within the mentioned technologies and related components.
- Giving input to the architecture and governance of backup, monitoring and VA/VDI infrastructure
- Creating new or improve existing support procedures and training documentation for operational support team to use.
- Participate in on call watch (out of business hours for Alert support – if emergencies (Rotating shift plan).
Requirements:
- 3+ years of work experience with designing, implementing and operating the following technologies: Virtual Apps/Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Bachelor's or technical degree in computer science, information systems or other industry related curriculum OR relevant work experience in lieu of the educational requirements
- Fluently in English, spoken and written
