Job description

You will join a leading global financial services company, which provides investment banking and advisory services. wealth The bank is located in Zurich, Switzerland, with operations in about 50 countries. The company employs more than 45,000 people from over 150 different countries and is still growing.

You will join Quantitative Strategies (QS) group which is responsible for producing state-of-the-art trading, pricing and risk management models. The group's activity covers all major asset classes, including Credit Derivatives, Commodities, Emerging Markets, Exotics, Foreign Exchange, Fund Linked Products, Interest Rate Products and Mortgage Derivatives.

Quantitative Strategies Technology (QST) group plays a key technological role within the company, comprising Core, Risk Engines, and Pricing&Services. They provide sophisticated infrastructure, services and applications to support all the asset classes that QS covers.

Both groups operate globally with over 200 members based in New York, Zurich, London, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Mumbai, Wroclaw and Warsaw.

We are looking for a talented C#/F# Developer to join the team located in Wrocław. The job will involve development of our tools as well as researching how the process in general can be made more robust and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, building and continuously improving tools which are used in the release processes
  • Ensuring that the tools and processes work together in an efficient way
  • Delivering an easy-to-use, efficient and robust development environment for Quant Developers
  • Improving the build, test and release ecosystem used in the group

The codebase, mostly written in C# and F#, will provide you with a number of challenges so you will be able to really "make the impact". Once you join, you can expect multiple trainings, mentoring and support from the team who will bring you up to speed.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of C# and/or F#
  • Being a software craftsman and self-starter who can work on their own and lead projects from the beginning to the end
  • Having wide understanding of the lifecycle of the delivered product (DevOps)
  • Experience in Continuous Integration
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
