Job description
Responsibilities:
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs for plethora of platforms and devise solutions
- Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, portable and reliable C++ code (25M+ LOC; majority in C++, but Java/JavaScript/Python is also there!)
- Proactively seek assistance when required and actively contribute to team activities including design reviews, code reviews and mentoring
- Stay current about industry developments and Internet technologies
Desired Candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years of programming experience in C++ for Linux
- Experience in working with Android is very much appreciated.
- Experience in creating applications in C++ on the Linux embedded platform and implementation of multi-threaded solutions using such protocols and formats as: XML, SOAP, JSON, Websocket
- Experience with Java, gdb
- Basic skills in: Linux, Bash, Git, HTML5, JavaScript
- Communicative English Welcome
- Knowledge of DVB, hbbtv, media streaming, Python, gerrit, Jenkins, Jira
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in TV and STB integration projects is a desired plus – embedded Linux or Android
- Experience in development and debugging of embedded systems is a big plus
