About the Role: 

We are on the lookout for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in SSIS and Pentaho to join our dynamic team. As a key player, you’ll be responsible for crafting, testing, and maintaining robust data flows and ingestion processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Process Design: Create efficient ETL processes using SSIS and Pentaho.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deeply understand data requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Database Design and Implementation: Shape database schemas, data structures, and processing systems for optimal performance.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune system performance to ensure seamless data handling.
• Data Accuracy: Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, maintaining impeccable data accuracy.
• Hadoop Expertise: Build robust data pipelines on the Hadoop stack.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven track record as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SSIS, Pentaho, and other ETL tools.
• Strong SQL skills, both in relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
• Bonus points for knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics APIs and the Hadoop stack (Hive, Spark).
