Job description

Cognifide is a pioneer in delivering the CMS platform based solutions. We are Adobe partner and as a part of WPP group we collaborate with global brands such as Ford, Unilever and Telegraph Media Group. Our engineers contribute with creative ideas and develop them into innovative solutions keeping balance between dynamically Agile processes and services management standards.

Join us in the role of:

DevOps Engineer
Location: Poznań, Bydgoszcz


As a part of Systems Engineering team you will:

  • be an integral part of development team
  • work with modern toolset on a daily basis: Chef, Vagrant, Consul and Terraform
  • design and implement solutions for Cognifide clients
  • provision hundreds of servers on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and other cloud providers
  • manage production environments
  • distribute content worldwide via various CDN (Content Delivery Network) providers
  • implement continuous delivery improvementsin our R&D department
  • develop your configuration management and process automation skills

Currently in our projects we deal with:

  • Full provisioning and maintenance of Adobe Experience Manage  and Sitecore CMS
  • Micro-services setup and maintenance based on  based on RXJava, Vert.x and Consul
  • CI/CD Automation using Vagrant, Chef and Terraform
  • Service Discovery and Configuration Management System based on Consul
  • Setup and optimization on search engines based on Lucene (Solr, Elasticsearch)
  • Cloud based hosting for our solution (both development and production environment)
  • Content Delivery Network setup and maintenance (Fastly, Akamai, CloudFlare)

Who we would like to invite to our team?

A person who work with at least one of those technologies: Bash, Ruby, Python. Familiarity with Chef, Puppet or Ansible and hands-on experience in using Linux systems are crucial for us. We are looking for person with experience in working in projects who value teamwork and agility. We appreciate analytical approach to tasks and focus on getting things done. We are looking for fast-learner with very good English skills, eager to work with our clients in many different locations around the world.
