Codejet's mission is to bridge the gap between design and code, enabling seamless creation of digital products (web apps, websites etc.). Codejet turns designs into live products using integrated tools: a design system (you can read more about it here), Figma plugin, Codejet’s no-code builder, and launch capabilities. We aim to unify all essential tools in one ecosystem, eliminating the need for repetitive tasks and enhancing productivity.

We are excited to add new team members motivated by our mission, passionate about making a difference in no-code, and who have a track record of being the best at what they do. Due to securing a significant contract to develop an IoT system, we are specifically seeking individuals with experience in IoT.

About the role

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in a product designer role.
• Proficiency in Figma, including design systems, auto-layouts, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Experience with modern UX/UI design and data visualization.
• Familiarity with Webflow and/or other no-code app builders (e.g., Framer, Builder.io).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Ability to work independently, move quickly, and self-manage for high impact in a small team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems into simpler components.
• Experience in building designs from scratch with strong system design skills.
• Passion for no-code technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Typical Day: Your typical day involves building user interfaces based on business requirements and designs from the product team.
• Teamwork: Your success is directly tied to how well you collaborate with your Backend partner. We expect you to be proactive and communicate effectively.
• Problem Solving: You'll tackle challenging problems in architecture and integrations that drive the business forward.
• Delivery: We highly value timely delivery according to the release plan. Speed is our differentiator. You should be ready to move quickly and release often.
• Self-Driven: We seek individuals who are self-motivated and prefer autonomy. You won’t be waiting for someone to tell you what to do.

What We'd Love to See (Bonus)

• Experience working with IoT (e.g., creating web interfaces for IoT products).
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Ability to conduct workshops (Strong soft skills and experience in communication).

Commitment: min. 09.2024 to 12.2024. Full-time or part-time (part-time availability after 12.2024), contract of mandate (umowa zlecenie) or B2B contract. 

Project Management: Agile (1-week sprints), minimal number of calls, daily stand-up at 9:15 am.

Vacancies: 1 member in Warsaw (remote or hybrid)

Setup: Choose whatever laptop you’d like.

Job Location: Warsaw - Codejet is a remote-first company with team members across Europe. However, since we need to integrate with the IoT product, we require work on-site in our Warsaw office (even hybrid) to collaborate with all team members and contractors to create the best UI/UX experience.

• 15-minute intro call with our founder to get to know each other.
• ~2-hour home recruitment task (imagine a new functionality for the Codejet Visual Builder (https://codejet.ai/) and wireframe it. If you prefer, you can complete this task before our interview and send it to pp@codejet.ai along with your portfolio. This will definitely be a big plus! It’s important for us to see that you understand auto-layout principles and can effectively use components).
