Codejet's mission is to bridge the gap between design and code, enabling seamless creation of digital products (web apps, websites etc.). Codejet turns designs into live products using integrated tools: a design system, Figma plugin, Codejet’s no-code builder, and launch capabilities. Due to securing a significant contract to develop an IoT system, we are specifically seeking individuals with experience in IoT.

About the role

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in a frontend development role.
• Proficiency in React, Design Patterns, State Machine, WebSocket.
• Experience with data visualization libraries.
• Knowledge of writing unit and integration tests.
• Ability to work independently, move quickly, and self-manage for high impact in a small team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems into simpler components.
• Experience in building applications from scratch with strong system design skills.
• Passion for no-code technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Typical Day: Your typical day involves building frontend interfaces creating state-machines based on business requirements and designs from Product Designer and integrating APIs provided by IoT experts and Backend engineers.
• Supervision: You will be supervised by Codejet’s CTO, Sebastian Kurzynowski, a software architect with years of experience, allowing you to develop your skills.
• Teamwork: Your success is directly tied to how well you collaborate with your Backend partner. We expect you to be proactive and communicate effectively.
• Problem Solving: You'll tackle challenging problems in architecture and integrations that drive the business forward.
• Delivery: We highly value timely delivery according to the release plan. Speed is our differentiator. You should be ready to move quickly and release often.
• Self-Driven: We seek individuals who are self-motivated and prefer autonomy. You won’t be waiting for someone to tell you what to do.

What We'd Love to See (Bonus)

• Experience working with IoT (e.g. creating web interfaces for IoT products).
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Test driven development experience.

Start Date: 01.09.2024

Project Management: Agile (1-week sprints), minimal number of calls, daily stand-up at 9:15 am.

Vacancies: 2 members in Bialystok (hybrid or remote)

Commitment: Contract of mandate (umowa zlecenie) or employment contract (umowa o pracę), full-time, long-term. No B2B contracts. Student status under 26 is a big plus for budget reasons - we are still a startup (please mention this in your application).

Setup: Choose whatever laptop you’d like.

Job Location: Preferably Białystok. We have offices in Warsaw and Bialystok, but Białystok offers the best collaboration opportunities with our software architect and most of the team based there. We also consider candidates from other parts of Poland and Europe.
