Full Stack Developer

We are CODA100, a leading tech firm specializing in innovative software solutions. We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer for an exciting new project aimed at enhancing our flagship product.

Project scope:

• Develop a comprehensive web application from scratch. 
• Integrate backend services with frontend frameworks to create seamless user experiences.
• The project is expected to last for 6 months with potential extensions based on performance

Deliverables:

• Fully functional web application with documentation.
• Regular progress reports and code reviews.
• Final project report detailing the development process and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement both front-end and back-end components of the web application.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the application.
• Work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.

Skills and Qualifications:

• TypeScript, modern component-based web framework (Angular, React, Vue etc.)
• Frontend state management
• Ability to write high quality code for a cloud backend
• Database concepts and usage
• Proficient using Git in a professional setting
• Real-life experience with automated testing of web applications (from unit testing to e2e testing)
• Relevant certifications or a degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have:

• GraphQL/AWS AppSync
• Experience with the pros and cons of different types of databases
• Advanced distributed databases concepts: modeling, indexing, sharding, performance optimization
• Experience with ElasticSearch/OpenSearch
• Experience deploying and managing cloud stacks, preferably with the serverless framework or AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with AWS Services and their APIs such as Lambda, S3, SES, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, IAM and Cognito
• Practical knowledge of performance optimization approaches for web applications
• Implementing responsive designs/optimizing complex applications for phone screens
• Material UI

Work Arrangement:

• Remote work
• Availability for at least 20 hours per week.
• Agile collaboration in an international team
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in English

Compensation and Payment Terms:

• Hourly rate of €40-€50, depending on experience.
• Bi-weekly payment schedule through invoicing.
• Necessary software licenses covered by the company.
