DevOps Engineer

We are a Gliwice-based IT company supporting a British startup that helps global e-commerce brands (food, supplements, cosmetics) navigate complex regulatory compliance through an intelligent, structured platform.

The Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to manage and scale the cloud-native infrastructure. You will work closely with Software Engineers and QA to ensure that "right by design" philosophy is reflected in the deployment pipelines and system resilience. You will be responsible for codifying infrastructure and maintaining the serverless backbone of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code: Design and maintain scalable AWS environments using Terraform.

• CI/CD: Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines for Node.js/Next.js applications to ensure high engineering velocity.

• Security & Governance: Implement IAM best practices, cloud security fundamentals, and data encryption.

• System Health: Improve observability, monitoring, and resilience of our Serverless and event-driven architectures.

• Collaboration: Support the engineering team in architectural decisions and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS (specifically Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway).

• IaC: Deep proficiency in Terraform for managing cloud resources.

• Automation: Solid experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps).

• Security: Practical knowledge of cloud security, IAM policies, and networking.

• Mindset: A builder mindset—fast, pragmatic, and focused on automation over manual fixes.

Tech Stack: AWS (Serverless), Terraform, GitHub Actions/DevOps, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL.
