Azure DevOps / Terraform Engineer

Join an international Cloud Ops team as a replacement to lead a high-stakes infrastructure migration. The project involves the redeployment of an application based on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) from one Azure Tenant to another. You will be responsible for full infrastructure automation, working with existing Terraform modules, and ensuring a seamless transition between environments while maintaining strict security and stability standards.

• Duration: 6 months (with possible extension).

• Start Date: ASAP (Immediate availability is a priority).

• Location: 100% Remote (Collaboration with a team in Spain).

• Compliance: Mandatory background check as part of the onboarding process.

• Rate: 135-150zł/h netto B2B

Responsibilities

• Tenant Migration: Planning and executing the redeployment of Azure infrastructure between Tenant A and Tenant B.

• IaC Mastery: Designing, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure using Terraform (operating within an existing module ecosystem).

• Cloud Operations: Supporting AKS environments and networking components in a Hub & Spoke architecture.

• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving infrastructure bottlenecks and improving existing deployment scripts.

• Collaboration: Working closely with the Spanish Cloud Ops team in a distributed environment.

Requirements

• Terraform: Expert-level experience in Infrastructure as Code.

• Microsoft Azure: Deep knowledge of production environments, including:

  • AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).

  • Networking: VNET, Peering, Hub & Spoke architecture.

  • Security/Traffic: Application Gateway, Firewalls.

  • Compute: Virtual Machines.

• Independence: Proven ability to take over ownership of an ongoing project and deliver results with minimal ramp-up time.

• English: Minimum B2+ for fluent daily communication in an international team.
