Job description
Cliqz is a Munich based start-up with creative minds from more than 30 countries. We develop innovative apps, which combine browser, privacy and search technologies. Our principle investors are Hubert Burda Media, one of the biggest players in European media, and Mozilla, developer of the Firefox browser. Our apps under the brand names Cliqz and Ghostery are used by millions of users daily.
We rely on a huge and very efficient infrastructure. As DevOps Engineer (m/f) you will be in the middle of it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You maintain and structure our cloud infrastructure and delivery pipeline
- You perform application deployments to production environment
- You build tools for managing our cloud infrastructure and improving our automation processes
- You provide support to our team on proper use of the cloud infrastructure
- You troubleshoot and resolve systems, application, hardware and network issues
- You maintain and improve system and process quality through effective documentation and communication
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- You have a University degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or similar
- You have 3+ years’ experience in one of the above fields
- You have solid scripting skills in Bash, Python or Ruby
- You are an expert in Ubuntu and other Linux/Unix operating systems
- You have experience in at least some of the following areas:
- AWS and other IaaS providers
- Configuration management and automated deployment tools
- Docker and Vagrant
- Continuous Integration and Delivery
- Administration and deployment of engineering services like JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, etc.
