Your new role

As a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for AI, you will play a key role in an exciting new project. Your expertise will drive the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced AI-based text processing technologies into our flagship product, CKEditor 5. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of content creation by redefining how users interact with digital text.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable AI-driven solutions, focusing on leveraging LLMs to create features such as contextual text predictions, automated content generation, and advanced language understanding within CKEditor 5. Your work will directly influence the direction and implementation of AI technologies, making a lasting impact on our products and their millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop AI-based features, particularly those utilizing LLMs, to enhance CKEditor 5. This includes implementing contextual text predictions, automated content suggestions, and other intelligent text processing capabilities.
• Design and deliver multiple Proofs of Concept (POCs) that showcase the potential of AI in improving the user experience within rich text editing environments.
• Investigate and apply cutting-edge generative AI methodologies to meet specific business needs, driving innovation within the company.
• Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the highest quality results, sharing best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, while balancing the need for comments with well-structured code.
• Share best practices on programming standards, tools, and processes to foster continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role you need the following:

• Over 5 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools.
• Expertise in working with LLMs and advanced AI models, with a proven track record of deploying these technologies in real-world applications.
• A passion for AI and a deep understanding of the latest trends and developments in LLMs and NLP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in English (at least B2 level).
