On behalf of Densou, Ciklum is looking for a Senior PHP Developer / Team Lead to join our Gdansk team on full-time basis.
Become a developer for one of Denmark’s biggest adtech startups and work with modern PHP/Javascript programming in a small agile team. We want to be less smart than you. Responsibilities:
- Understand our commercial requests and needs, and lead the Ciklum team to deliver on them;
- Liaise with the danish Head of Technology to ensure that the team produces solid and reliable applications, that fit the business requirements.
- Develop and maintain several projects built with Symfony, Laravel or PhalconPHP;
- Develop and maintain ReactJS and NodeJS projects;
- Work with integrations into systems such as Adform, Google DFP, Facebook.
- Develop applications that is used constantly, with no/few errors/downtime;
Requirements:
- Write clean, well-designed code, that is easy to maintain and that you are proud of;
- Be able to identify which language or tool is best suited for a given problem;
- Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases using modern tools;
- Proven software development experience in PHP and modern PHP-based frameworks;
- Proven software development experience in Javascript especially with ReactJS;
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to follow company best practices;
- Experience with testing (unit, integration);
- Experience with relational databases, VCS and web technologies;
- Experience with working with containerized applications;

- Leadership and diplomatic skills. Members of the team are interested in getting wiser and will often seek the TL in order to be inspired and enlightened;
- Being committed to timely delivery of quality results;
- Prefers writing things down, holding people to deadlines and is proud of keeping structure and order;
- Is comfortable working in an environment with joking and having fun while being professional;
- Desire to work in a smaller company, which gives exposure to all aspects of developing applications.
Desirable:
- Experience as Team Leader of a development team.
- You have worked in the area of online advertising, RTB and/or search engines;
- You have written against API economies where transaction correctness is business critical;
- Experience with AWS and/or Terraform;
- Experience in working across distributed onsite and offshore teams;
