Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary range: B2B 35-44E/h + VAT 💰

Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for our Client.

You will join a highly motivated team and will be working on a modern solution for our existing client. We are looking for technology experts who want to make an impact on new business by applying best practices and taking ownership.

Responsibilities:

• Design / Deploy / Manage Azure environment (VM and AKS)
• Create / Maintain / Deploy helm charts for internal applications
• Maintain / Troubleshoot automation and management scripts (Ansible)
• Maintain / Troubleshoot / Improve CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions)
• Create / Maintain / Troubleshoot internal monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Create / Maintain / Troubleshoot cloud servers (ensure maximum uptime/stability)
• Create / Maintain internal documentation (runbooks)
• Monitor / Update / Work on assigned tickets from Engineering teams
• Collaborate with development team to identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures and automation

Requirements:

• Expertise deploying, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes clusters on Azure
• 3-5 years experience with Kubernetes and running Docker containers
• 3-5 years experience with RHEL or Debian based OS
• 3-5 years experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet (Ansible highly preferred)
• Experience with Prometheus
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with GitHub and Git version control system
• Experience with CI/CD Systems (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) or related certifications are a plus

Desirable:

• Mastery of English language, both oral and written
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment 
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
• Positive and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced changing environment and learn technologies quickly
• Active participation in daily stand-ups and team update system (Status Hero)
• A work ethic which includes honesty, integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times
• Ability to work within a hybrid Agile / Waterfall development methodology

• Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English
