Job description

On behalf of LanguageWire, Ciklum is looking for a PHP Developer to join Gdansk team on a full-time basis.

Translations are no longer Word documents and manual processes. It is all about process automation, cool integration solutions, awesome machine learning and high performing machine translation software. And we do it all in-house. LanguageWire is the place to be, if you want to work with known technologies and frameworks, but also have the hunger for new frameworks and are excited about doing greenfield development.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop, design and maintain a wide spectrum of LanguageWire platform integrations in collaboration with the Gdansk development team and the product owner
  • You will ensure that the quality of our products is up to our high standards by conducting code reviews, writing tests and automating as much as possible

Requirements

  • Ability to write elegant, clean, SOLID, object-oriented code
  • 2+ years of PHP experience
  • 2+ years of JavaScript experience
  • Experience with source control (Git)
  • Experience with HTML5 and CSS
  • Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience in writing unit tests
  • Basic knowledge of Linux

Desirable

  • TYPO3 CMS version 8 and 9
  • WordPress
  • Drupal 8 and 9
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • CI (TFS, Jenkins)
  • Experience with writing bash scripts
  • Test-driven development
  • SaaS platforms like HubSpot, Shopify, Marketo, Zendesk and SalesForce
