Description
On behalf of UTX/Verint, Ciklum is looking for Android Platform Engineer to join our team in Wroclaw on a full-time basis.
This is a great opportunity to work with our talented and highly professional team who are developing our market leading, innovative and cutting edge cellular telecommunications products, which are used to safeguard people around the world.
Responsibilities
- Develop an Android software platform for unique mobile products
- Design great code within the constraints and opportunities of powerful embedded platforms
- Work in a Scrum team and collaborating with other scrum teams
- Carry out peer coding reviews
- Take part in the company’s Innovation Initiatives
- Continuous learning and personal development using the 70/20/10 model
Requirements
- BSc or equivalent in computer science or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Linux and operating systems concepts
- In depth knowledge of the following: Networking(TCP/IP), Interprocess Communication
- Proficiency in C and C++; Java is a plus
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (*sh, python, perl)
- Experience in full design, development and testing life cycle
Desirable
- Familiarity with open source development tools and methodology
- Knowledge of GIT
- Knowledge of unit testing
- Knowledge and experience of Scrum and Agile development
Personal skills
- Passion for Software Development and technology in general
- Excellent English and communication skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
