Your daily tasks on the job:
- Monitoring components to ensure it’s availabalility and SLA adherence
- Building automations (CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, Incident response, etc.) to support teams in operations
- Fixing system-related incidents and bugs
- Conducting post-mortem-analysis with the teams to facilitate knowledege sharing and increase awareness
- Documenting knowledge and best practices (recovery instructions, troubleshooting, etc.) to accelerate other teams in root cause analysis and issue resolution
- Supporting other teams in analyzing incidents or bugs
- Defining and measuring a framework of SLA (Service Level Agreement) and Service Level Indicator (SLI)
- Regularly executing performance/load tests and report about results
- Derive action plans from consolidated findings and plan/align activities with teams
Requirements:
- Experience - minimum 5 years in software development and/or SRE
- Java developer background
- Team player – we fully support each other, teamwork is our essential value
- Speak English and Polish fluently
Methodology :
- Agile management: Scrumban - we work in small squads (2-5 members). Squad is cross-functional, autonomous team and work on 1-2 features at once
- Issue tracking tool: Jira
- Version Control : Git
- Knowledge repository: Confluence
- In CDQ we are using a variety of different databases: NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis), SQL, RDF triple stores.
