The role we are offering you: 

The Flight Services Team team is looking for a Linux System Administrator role, to be part of a team who will be assisting Infrastructure team as well as defining standards around Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Build and utilize automation tools with respect to the release management process 
• Responsible for implementing improvements and automation to increase stability and uptime in production environments with oversight and support of lower environments 
• Operate complex environments in the Cloud 
• Assist in the technical coordination between service integrators, vendors and partners 
• Strong attitude towards teamwork, knowledge sharing and documentation 
• Work together with change management and development teams to leverage open source tools and help implement best practices and policies. 
• Exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action 

Our ideal candidate has: 

• 3+ years related experience as a DevOps engineer and/or software developer (Release Engineering experience is a plus) 
• Experience with source control systems such as GIT 
• Solid understanding of SDLC, patching, releases and software development at scale, Continuous Integration, and Delivery approaches 
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Terraform and Azure Pipelines 
• Experience with GCP is a plus. 
• Good knowledge of programing languages such as JavaScript, Python 
• Strong scripting capabilities such as Ansible, Jenkins, PowerShell, Bash etc. 
• Good knowledge of monitoring tools like Zabbix/CloudWatch/ELK 
• Good knowledge of Kafka. 
• Familiar with database engines and technologies (Relational, MultiValue, etc.) MongoDB is a plus. 
• Experience with container orchestrators and platforms, AWS Rosa desired 
• Understanding of ITSM process, ITIL practices & other standard IT practices/procedures, particularly as they relate to the cloud is a plus 
• Good written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills including; change management documentation, ability to communicate among technical and non-technical employees, and process orientation skills 
• Effective time management skills; able to set prioritized and be flexible in a changing environment 
• Ability to report and work accurately and according to agreed timelines 
• Ability to identify problems, root causes and apply solutions proactively 
• Ability to learn and adapt to multiple technologies 
• Advanced oral and written communication level in English 
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
