Brown Brothers Harriman is looking for an candidate to join a team of professionals within Innovation Lab that focuses on various challenging projects in such areas like Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence. For this team we are searching for experienced test automation expert who will participate in building a Test Automation for various RPA and AI projects. The potential candidate will participate in the entire development process and lead automation efforts by building the Test Automation Framework. The candidate needs to be an expert in software testing and have robust expertise in test automation tools and programming languages.

Responsibilities for your role would include:
Software testing and Test Automation
- Partner with technical, design and business representatives to gain complete and detailed understanding of project requirements.
- Create, maintain and enhance test plans, test scripts as required to support development activities.
- Work independently with Developers and Functional/Business Analysts to design, create and automate test scenarios and extract/create test data
- Prioritize test automation efforts to support current and future systems projects.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, performance and conversion test activities on developed systems
- Work with development/infrastructure teams to setup the test environment and the automation framework for the projects
- Be responsible for up to date reporting on the test results to Project Stakeholders and partner with Development teams to remediate any uncovered deficiencies
- Prioritize test automation efforts to support current and future systems projects.
- Define highly complex automated scenarios and test cases
- Perform in dynamic Agile environment
Technical skills
- Build tools (ex. Ant, Maven, Gradle)
- Unit testing frameworks (ex. JUnit, TestNG)
- Defect management( ex. qTest, Jira)
- Continuous integration tools (ex. Jenkins, TeamCity)
- Web UI testing tools (Selenium, QTP)
- Desktop test automation tools (ex. AutoIT, Sikuli)
- API testing tools (ex. rest-assured, Soap UI)
Qualifications for your role would include:
- Bachelor’s degree or specialized training required.
- Proficient in Java with the knowledge of other commonly used coding languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with both development team and Business users
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
- Knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
- Strong skills in software testing and test automation.
- Knowledge of testing tools and automation methodologies
Nice to have:
- Programming language certifications (ex. Java OCA/OCP),
- Knowledge about Artificial Intelligence
- Knowledge about Robotic Process Automation tools
