As a Senior Security Technology Analyst, you will assist in the management and development of security technology for data, systems, networks and applications. You will be responsible for evaluating and implementing products and procedures to enhance security productivity and effectiveness. Your role provides direct support to the business and IT staff on security related issues.
To be successful, you will need to:
- Design/Implement Network Security Architecture, define and evaluate all systems and their corresponding or associated applications including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention systems (IDS/IPS), APT, Web Application Firewalls, Internet DNS systems, HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS Proxies, IPSEC/SSLVPN Gateways, and RSA Authentication Manager
- Manage/Administer all Network Security systems and their corresponding or associated applications
- Monitor all Network Security systems and their corresponding or associated applications
- Design Implement all external data communication connectivity to the organization’s clients, partners, and vendors
- Participate in conference calls and meetings with the organization’s clients, partners, and vendors
- Research new systems and technologies related to Network Security and Computer Data Communications field
- Good understanding of Application Communication, i.e., Market Data
- Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support, flexible for after business hours or weekend work if needed
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree required in related field Minimum 5 years experience in Network Engineering, Security Administration or related technical specialties
- Minimum 5 years experience in Network Engineering, Security Administration or related technical specialties
- Extensive hands on experience with Checkpoint Firewalls/IDS/IPS,Cisco Routers and Switches & Firewalls, Cloud Proxies (Zscaler), F5 SSLVPN APM, F5 ASM, RSA Authentication Manager, etc.
- Broad hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network administration/protocols
- Proven experience in planning, organizing, and developing IT security and facility security system technologies
- Knowledge of network routing protocols (RIP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and switching technologies, Cisco hardware, and various network management tools
- Excellent understanding of project management principles
- Good analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with WiFi Networks related to Design, Implementation, and Support
- Experience with Python or Java
