Job description
BRIDGEMAKER is, Berlin based, an ideation lab and company builder in the field of digital technology. We are looking for enthusiastic personalities with well-established software development knowledge who want to be actively involved at the forefront of disruptive innovation. We've started our adventure in Poznań as BRIDGEMAKER Tech!
Skills that we’re looking for:
JavaScript. We would like if:
- you have experience in pure JavaScript and at least one of the frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js
- you have experience building hybrid apps with Ionic, React Native or similar frameworks
- you're familiar and know the meaning of terms like scope and execution context, closure, MVC, module, event delegation
- you have experience with JavaScript test frameworks like Mocha, Jest or Jasmine
HTML. Especially:
- you know the purpose of HTML elements semantics
- you know how HTML document traversing works
- you know that “div” is not the best container for everything
CSS. Especially:
- you're familiar, or even have experience with responsive web design
- you know, that "p > span" doesn't mean, that paragraph is more important than span
- would be nice, if you have some experience with CSS preprocessors
Tools & process
- you have used some version control system before (and you know that JIRA is not a version control system)
- you're not afraid of working in terminal
- you value readable, maintainable code over clever code
- you know what Webpack, Gulp or Grunt is
- would be nice, if you have experience with Scrum
- you are an Evangelist when it comes to best practices
