We are currently looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help us ensure the quality delivery of the next generation of Community and Content tools.
As part of the team, you’ll cooperate cross-functionally to help us design and implement and execute tests and maintain documentation to make continuous improvements to the Brainly platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Leading the process of the quality of the product team
- Collaborating with the cross-functional development team, QAs, Delivery and Product Managers
- Executing risk-based planning (prioritizing) for testing activities
- Executing and preparing test cases and test scenarios
- Creating and executing Test Automation scripts for regression testing and new functionalites development
- Creating and gathering data for QA metrics to track achieving the core business KPIs
- Documenting and analyzing test results
- Lead defect management process
WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE
- 4+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer
- Experience with performing functional, non-functional and exploratory testing
- Experience in automated testing using JavaScript
- Experience providing training and support to colleagues on Quality Assurance procedures, process and practices
- Experience with DevTools (or similar)
- Experience with tools supporting API testing (Postman, Fiddler)
- Working experience with CI/CD tools (Jest, Cypress) and VCS (Git)
- Understanding of the Scrum/Agile methodology
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge about best practices for test cases creation, maintenance, and execution
- An understanding of user acceptance methodologies including, black box testing, use cases, and user stories
- Knowledge of tools for project/test management (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, TestRail, Xray)
- Excellent interpersonal skills including team working, analytical thinking, problem-solving
- Self-organization skills, the ability to make your own decisions, and take ownership of developed solutions
- Fluency in English
WHAT WILL BLOW OUR MINDS
- Experience working with multiple teams
- Knowledge of tools for project/test management (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, TestRail, Xray)
- AWS hands-on experience
- Familiarity with ISTQB concepts
- Familiarity with BDD and/or TDD concepts
